A Little Sadness

Yes, a little sadness. Not a huge sadness, but one that is tempering my morning. Last year at this time, I was on a plane to Marlborough, Mass. for the NGH Conference. It was the day the airlines implemented the "no liquid" rule. It was crazy.

This year, it is just another day. No conference for me (sniff).

So, for all of you lucky dogs who get to attend, have a double super time (double 'cause someone needs to do it for me). For those flying in, I hope it is smooth going. I cannot wait to hear all about it.

Is there anyone left who isn't going?

I'm not a member so, I'm not going obviously. :) But I do know of several people in the hypnosis community that I keep in touch with that will be attending.

No worries. Sometimes things just happen, and while this could be seen as a negative, take that earlier post idea of looking for the positives and run with it.

I just noticed www.hypnoticon.org through a link off a Yahoo Group I'm a member of and would love to attend that one, but alas, the money involved is always the thing that stops me from attending.

Maybe someday I'll make a living that can afford me the ability to attend such events and make new friends.

But that isn't today for me either, Ellie. I've never been to a convention of any kind, so hopefully someday I will. Maybe we'll bump heads, who knows.

Have fun, always...

There are many positives in not going, too. Just too much going on really.

Hypnoticon.org looks pretty interesting. It's a little close to the timing for the NGH's Solid Gold event in Vegas, which I have promised myself I would go to this year. But Atlanta's fun, too.

Glad you are still around, though!

NGH? In Vegas? I live in VEGAS!!! When is this?

Ok, now I'm piqued... off to do some research. Thanks for the tip-off, Ellie.

Have fun, always...

I'm not sure of the dates, but they have been doing this event in Vegas for a few years now. I have not actually been before, but I image Vegas in the winter is pretty nice.

A day or two late, it seems, but it's been a busy few days.

Yes, I'm in Marlboro. And yes, Ellie, I've been having some extra fun with you in mind. Now if we could just figure out how to transfer that enjoyment across the Internet... :)
